Learn to Use a Sewing Machine

3 hrs - machine and materials provided
For absolute beginners.Learn how to use a sewing machine and make your own tote bag. You will learn how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, sew straight stitch, zig-zag and button hole. All these techniques will then be used to make a shopping bag to be proud of. You will be given tips on fabric selection, cutting, ironing and how to make your bags unique. Materials included and you will be given a pattern to take home so you can continue making these bags for yourself or as gifts. The sewing machines provided by The Workshop are also available to buy and are great all round machines for domestic sewing needs.With Sarah Harper
