Welcome to our May Newsletter

THE WORK SHOP WAVES GOODBYE…

It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of The Work Shop in Crouch End at the end of June. We have worked to make The Work Shop financially viable and despite the huge efforts and enthusiasm from our team we have not succeeded. The recent rates increase and further parking restrictions in Crouch End have tipped the balance and our decision is to focus all our efforts on our Muswell Hill shop and further develop our online store. But fear not, many of our beautiful handmade products and haberdashery items now sold in Crouch End will still be available online in the very near future.

We would like to thank you all for the often passionate contributions so many of you have made in our lovely space; we have enjoyed creating a more creative community in Crouch End and hope to see all our wonderful customers in Muswell Hill.

AND we're going out on a high! So come and join us in our huge sale with up to 50% off many items. Grab a bargain with up 40% off all wool and selected fabrics, 25% off all antique sewing machines and much, much more. We'd love to see you all again before we go, so please pop in say goodbye!

The Work Shop is delighted to be taking part in the Crouch End Open Studios weekend on the 7th & 8th of May. Photographer, Liz Brown and ceramicist Jacqueline Lewis will be exhibiting their captivating artwork. Take a look at the website for more information. www.crouchendopenstudios.co.uk

NEW WALLPAPER COLLECTION
ZOFFANY - INTAGLIO - From £48 per roll

We love this unusual wallpaper collection from Zoffany, it is inspired by and uses the distinctive ‘intaglio’ printmaking technique of incising a design into a hard surface to create dynamic wallpapers. Three of these designs draw on the architectural lines of ancient and classical Rome, other designs depict illustrative maps, forests of sycamore trees and a sophisticated smaller scale design of repeated coronets. Take a look at this collection in our Muswell Hill store.

We will still be running workshops until the end of June so check out our top picks this month…
